Mike Burget is a Pennsylvania native who grew up in the countryside of Martinsburg where God and Family are taught to always be the most important things in life. Mike dedicates his life to serving God through his everyday walk. He has a love and passion for helping people in any way that he can. He is extremely active in youth and young adult ministry where he serves with his wife and strives to help the next generation know and love the Lord. 

Mike has been a carpenter for the past 22 years and you will often find him helping with the upkeep, repairs, and remodels at the church, or creating some activity prop needed for children or youth ministries. He has been married to his wife Brandi for the past 19 years and has been blessed with 3 children. They love to spend time together as a family. 

As Optimist leader Simon Sinek teaches, Mike strives to serve the church as a leader who isn't "in-charge" but someone who cares for those in his charge.
