Jesus prepared the way to the presence God and invites us to follow him.

Everyone drops the ball sometimes.

In Ezekiel 34:1-16, God gives a strong warning to the shepherds who failed to care for the people entrusted to them. They ignored the hurting, neglected the weak, and missed cries for help. But even when others fail, God promises, "I myself will search for my sheep and look after them."

This Father's Day, we're reminded that fathers, parents, leaders, and all of us can fumble at times. We miss opportunities to pray, to encourage, to help, and to heal. Yet God never fumbles His love and care for His people.

2nd Chronicles 7:14 is a message of hope for the nation of Israel.  In their time of devastation, they are reminded of the recipe for healing and restoration:  Humility, Seeking God's face, and Repentance.  May the same call help our nation to turn back to God as we yearn for revival and transformation.
